Temporary Closure of Victoria Avenue, Swanage
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Victoria Avenue, Swanage, between its junctions with junction with Kings Road West and Prospect Business Park, a distance of approximately 300 metres. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Tuesday 07 January 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 28 February 2020.
This order will allow I and G Ltd, agents working on behalf of SGN, to replace the existing gas main in the highway.
These works are programmed to be undertaken in 2 phases - each phase on either side of Victoria Avenue Industrial Estate to ensure that access to the Estate is maintained at all times. Works will commence on Tuesday 07 January 2020 on the western side of the Industrial Estate and will switch to the eastern side for the second phase. The phases and alternative vehicular routes will be indicated by the traffic signs on site.

Temporary Traffic Management Order -Wareham Town Centre
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984,
as amended.
The Order will include the following traffic management measures: the one-way closure (eastbound) of East Street; the suspension of on-street parking on South Street; the suspension of the taxi rank on South Street; the use of multi-way traffic signals at the Town Cross (to manage both traffic and pedestrians); the closure of Pound Lane; the suspension of bus stops on South Street and the one-way closure (westbound) of West Street. These measures will be enforced in phases, as work progresses from East Street, through South Street and backto West Street The traffic management order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 06 January 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 27 March 2019. This order will allow JDT Utilities, agents for SGN, to replace the existing gas mains in the town centre to secure a reliable gas supply.

Temporary Traffic Management Order -Various Roads, Swanage
To enable the forthcoming Swanage town centre enhancement scheme (to improve the pedestrian experience), DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this noticeto make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
The Order will include the following traffic management measures: closing Institute Road, between The Mowlem and The Square; making Shore Road one-way between The Mowlem and Victoria Avenue; suspending on-street parking on the north side of Station Road between Mermond Place and The Mowlem; reversing traffic flow on Kings Road East between Kings Road West and The Library; suspending the width restriction on High Street between The Library and Court Hill; making High Street two-way between The Library and The Square. The traffic management order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 06 January 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 29 May 2020.
This order will allow Dorset Council to carry out enhancement works to Swanage town Centre.
