(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.26) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree, as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition ofWaiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence after 19/12/19, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband.
The Order will come into effect on 19/12/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in schedule 1 to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads and those in schedule 2 for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

(Evelyn Wood Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Evelyn Wood Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Claud Ince Avenue to its junction Jeffreys Road, a distance of approximately 185m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/12/19 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2286577 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully adjustment works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Jeffreys Road, Claud Ince Avenue and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 06/12/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
