INTRODUCTION OF A NEW RAISED ZEBRA CROSSING GRANVILLE ROAD, SW18
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, In pursuance of Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and in pursuance of Sections 90C and 90CA of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to introduce a raised "Zebra" crossing in Granville Road outside Michael's Church of England School. Particulars of the Zebra crossing are given in Schedule 1 to this notice, and of the proposed alterations to the raised table in Schedule 2.
2. The associated Zig Zag markings will prohibit all vehicles from stopping or waiting at any time for any reason.
3. The scheme is being proposed on the grounds of improving road safety especially for pedestrians.
4. A copy of the documents (including a drawing) giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

SCHEDULE 1 - The Zebra Crossing
Granville Road, SW18 - East of the eastern kerb-line of Viewfield Road
There will be 8 Zig-Zag markings on the approach and exit sides of the crossing. Including the width of the crossing itself (5 metres) the overall length of the crossing will be 31 metres.
SCHEDULE 2 - The raised table
Granville Road, SW18 - Outside St Michael's Church of England School
The table will be 75mm in height, with a length of 5.4 metres (including ramps, which are 1.5 metres in length) and sited outside the common boundary of Nos 71 and 73 Granville Road, extending eastwards.
