Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
Dorset County Council (Part of Bridleway 30, Stoke Abbott at Laverstock) Public Path Diversion Order 2015

On 19 October 2019 Dorset Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 3 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public.
The effect of the order as confirmed is divert part of Bridleway 30, Stoke Abbott at Laverstock as shown on the order map as follows:-
From the existing path:
From the unaffected part of Bridleway 30, east south east of Laverstock House at ST 42760015, north north west crossing its junction with Footpath 29, across afield and along part of a farm track, east north east of Orchard Cottage to ST 42700028, then west north west across a field, crossing the farm track to the east of Laverstock Farm, then generally north across a field and pond to its junction with the current Footpath 36 (part to be extinguished) at ST 42560043. Continue north and north west across the pond and field to its junction with Bridleway 31, north of Laverstock Farm at ST 42520049. (No recorded width).
To a new path:
From the unaffected part of Bridleway 30, east south east of Laverstock House at ST 42760015, north along the farm track to ST 42760022, then north west along the track, to the east of Orchard Cottage at ST 42700028, turning west, passing to the north of Orchard Cottage to ST 42580029, then north, to the east of Laverstock Farm, at ST 42580033. Continue south west along the track to ST 42560032, then west, crossing into a field, to the east of Laverstock Farm at ST 42550032, then north north east, passing to the east of a pond, to ST 42590044, continuing north north west, between two ponds, to the northern field boundary at ST 4258400462, then crossing west north west, into the next field, to its junction with the new route of Footpath 36, at ST 4258200463, then north west, across the field to its junction with Bridleway 31 at ST 42520049. The width of this part of Bridleway 30 is 4 metres. Limitations: Field gates at ST 42560032 and ST 42550032, Bridle gate at ST 4258400462, all to
BS5709:2006.

The order comes into force on 26 October 2019 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 5 December 2019, make an application to the High Court.

Dorset County Council (Part of Footpath 36, Stoke Abbott at Laverstock) Public Path Extinguishment Order 2015
On 19 October 2019 Dorset Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish the public footpath running from its junction with the current Bridleway 30, north north east of Laverstock Farm and towards the northern edge of a pond at ST 42560043, north east across the pond and a field to its junction with the new diverted route of Bridleway 30 at ST 4258200463. (No recorded width).
