The Acquisition of Land Act 1981
1 The National Grid Electricity Transmission PLC (London Power Tunnels 2) (Circuit 2 - New Cross to Hurst) Compulsory Purchase Order 2019, which has been submitted by National Grid Electricity Transmission PLC to the Secretary of State for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy for confirmation includes the new rights described in the Schedule.

2 The land over which the new rights are to be acquired forms part of an open space.

3 Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government in exercise of her powers under paragraph 6(3) of Schedule 3 to the Acquisition of Land Act 1981 has certified that under paragraph 6(1 )(a) of Schedule 3 to the Acquisition of Land Act 1981 that the rights land, when burdened with the new rights, will be no less advantageous to those persons in whom it is vested and other persons, if any, entitled to rights of common or other rights, and to the public, than it was before.

4 The certificate and a map showing the land to which the certificate relates may be found online at

5 The certificate becomes operative on the date on which this notice is last published. A person aggrieved by the certificate may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from that date, challenge its validity on the ground that there has been a failure to comply with any relevant statutory requirement relating to the certificate.

SCHEDULE
Approximately 1914 square metres of open space and parkland forming part of the land known as Falconwood Field situated south of Welling Way, Greenwich and shown coloured blue and edged red on the map referred to in the above named Compulsory Purchase Order.
