) ORDER 2019
The Council have made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; operative from 6th December, 2019 its effect will be to impose speed limits of 20mph and 50mph on roads within the Blackrod Area, Bolton. This is an area that is bounded by the following roads:-20mph speed limit
Balmoral Drive, Kenmore Close, Doune Avenue, Newark Close, Glamis Court, Stirling Court, Inveraray Avenue. 50mph speed limit
Dark Lane from a point 250 metres south of its junction with Hill Lane & Little Scotland in a north easterly direction to its junction with Chorley Road(A6) and Grimeford Lane from its junction with Chorley Road(A6) in a north easterly direction to the Chorley Council District Boundary, as specified in the Order.

Hill Lane, Ainse Road, Vicarage Road West, Little Scotland, Balmoral Drive, Kenmore Close, Doune Avenue, Newark Close, Glamis Court, Stirling Court, Inveraray Avenue.
A copy of the Orders, plans and statement of reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours (by tel. 01204 336677). Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 29th November, 2019 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
