NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER

DIVERSION OF BRIDLEWAY TW-519 (PART) (FORMERLY BRIDLEWAY 15) IN THE PARISH OF TENBURY WELLS
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019
On 24 October 2019 the County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the Public Bridleway by:
Diverting the length and entire width of Bridleway TW-519(part) in the parish of Tenbury Wells, commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 5669 6718. The path heads in an east north easterly direction for 110 metres to OSGR SO 5679 6721. The path carries on in a north easterly direction for 178 metres to OSGR SO 5694 6730. The total distance of the bridleway to be diverted is 288 metres.
To a point commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 5671 6714 and proceeding in a northeast by easterly direction for 50 metres at an enclosed width of 4 metres to a gate at OSGR SO 5676 6717. The path continues at an unenclosed width of 3 metres in a north easterly direction for 77 metres, and at an enclosed width of 4 metres in a north easterly direction for 23 metres, to a gate at OSGR SO 5685 6719, then in an east by northerly direction for 75 metres to a gate at OSGR SO 5691 6722. The path continues for 52 metres in a north easterly direction to OSGR SO 5695 6726, where it arcs in a north north westerly direction for 26 metres to a gate at OSGR SO 5695 6728. The path carries on in a north north westerly direction for 15 metres to OSGR SO 5694 6730, where it joins bridleway TW-519. The total distance of the diverted bridleway is 318 metres.
A copy of the Order and the map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, and at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, WR14 3AF on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought at County Hall, Worcester at the price of £7.50.
The Order came into force on 24 October 2019 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice (9 January 2020) make an application to the High Court.
