LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. **) Order 2019.
(Various Roads in Penge)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) amend existing Shared Use bays in various roads in Penge to either Resident Permit only bays (Zone PGE) or Pay by Mobile phone only bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) amend the operational hours of all existing Resident Permit Only Bays (Zone PGE) in Cottingham Road; Crampton Road; Green Lane; Kingsdale Road; Kingswood Road; Lucas Road; Phoenix Road; Raleigh Road; Southey Street; Station Road and Torr Road from Monday to Friday 10am-12noon to. Monday to Saturday 10am-12noon;
(c) remove the resident permit bays adjacent to the kerb buildout outside Nos. 20 to 26 Phoenix Road and replace with 'At Any Time' waiting restrictions;
(d) introduce new Resident Permit Only Bays (Zone PGE) in Wordsworth Road as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 2004.
A copy of the proposed order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/682 not later than 18* December 2019.
Persons objecting to the proposed order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

LUCAS ROAD, Penge, the north east side, from a point 7m south east of the south eastern kerbline of St. John's Road south eastwards for a distance of 24m (5 parking spaces).
PHOENIX ROAD, Penge, the south west side, from a point 6m north west of the north western kerbline of St. John's Road north westwards for a distance of 20m (4 parking spaces).
RALEIGH ROAD, Penge, (a) the north east side, (i) from a point 10m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Southey Street south eastwards to the north western boundary of No. 45 (3 parking spaces); (ii) from a point 6m north west of the north western kerbline of Green Lane north westwards for a distance of 21 m (4 parking spaces); (b) the south west side, from a point 6m north west of the north western kerbline of Green Lane north westwards for a distance of 22m (4 parking spaces).
