Notice is hereby given that Buckinghamshire County Council proposes to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to introduce various restrictions on the following roads: - Park Parade in Hazlemere (1038), Chequers Avenue, Genoa Way & Sierra Road (1039), Hughenden Boulevard & Hughenden Road Car Park (1040), Grafton Street (1041), Credon Street, Desborough Road, East Richardson Street, Easton Street, Lily’s Walk, Suffield Hill, & Queen Victoria Road (1042) in High Wycombe.
A copy of the Order and Plans showing the lengths of road affected, together with a copy of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at County Hall, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA. Notice is hereby given that the Aylesbury Vale District Council (Public Footpath No.6 (Part) Parish of Shabbington) Public Path Diversion Order 2018 made under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 came into effect on 30 August 2019 when the terms of article 2 of the Order were complied with. The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire County Council (London Road West, Amersham)(Temporary Holding of Traffic) Order, 2019 which will temporarily hold vehicles (max 10 minutes) and prohibit from proceeding (whilst holding traffic is in place), except for emergency vehicles, in London Road West from the junction of A416 for approximately 150m heading West. Alternative route: London Road West, Chequers Hill, Amersham Bypass, London Road East, Gore Hill. The closure is required whilst facilitating the safe entry and exit of large vehicles to and from site take place commencing on 2 December 2019. This will be carried out by temporarily stopping traffic for Lorries to be guided in. This will be on an average of up to 20 stops in each week and will take approximately 10 minutes each time. Email alerts will be updated weekly. Diversion route will be supplied to enable road users to go around the traffic holding. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 December 2019, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. Dated 22 November 2019
The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire County Council (Latimer Road,Village Road, Chenies Mill Road, Chenies in the Parish of Chenies CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2019 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Latimer Road, from outside No 1 to the junction of Chenies Mill. Village Road from the junction with Latimer Road to the junction of Holloway Lane. Chenies Mill Road from outside Mill Farm Barn to the junction of the village. Alternative route: Amersham Road, Stony Lane, Latimer Bottom, The Village, Flaunden Bottom, Flaunden Hill. The closure is required whilst Openreach poles replacement and tree cutting works take place commencing on 9 December 2019 between 08:00 and 18:00. Works will not take place on 12th Dec to enable full access to voting stations. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9 December 2019, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
