Temporary Closure of Public Bridleway 21, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not lessthan seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Public Bridleway 21, from grid reference SY 684 826 to grid reference SY 684 825, approximately 135 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 09 December 2019, for a period of 26 weeks. This order can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The Order is required to allow to impermeant planning permission WP/17/000832.
On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.

The County of Dorset (Various Roads, Toller Porcorum) (30 mph Speed Limit) (No.') Order 201'
Dorset Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and 124(1)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will beto introduce a 30mph speed limit on following lengths of road in Toller Porcorum
- High Street, from a point approximately 15 metres south of Bracken House north-eastward to its junction with Kingcombe Road.
- Lower Road, from its junction with Kingcombe Road eastward to the bridge over the River Hooke.
- Toller Road from the Bridge over the River Hooke eastward, for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
- School Lane, from its junction with High Street northward to its junction with Church Mead.
- Kingcombe Road, from its junction with High Street northward to point approximately 45 metres north-westward of its junction with Pope's Hill.
- Frogmore Lane, from its junction with High Street southward and eastward to the entrance to Frogmore Farm.
Full details of this proposal are contained in the Draft Order which, together with a plan showing the length of roads affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at, Main Reception, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset.

Dorset Council has made an Amendment Orderto 'The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014' under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and under Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996.
When the order comes into operation on 29 November 2019 the effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at anytime on specified lengths of Putton Lane and Oldridge Road, Chickerell.
Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.

The County of Dorset (Various Roads, Dorchester) (20mph Zone) Order No. 2,2019
Dorset Council has made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into operation on 29 November 2019 the effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph Speed Zone to include the entire lengths of the following roads in Dorchester:
- St Helen's Road
- Victoria Road
- Westover Road
- Albert Road (part)
Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
