The Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 478) Order 2019
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, on 19 November 2019, made the above mentioned Order under sections 6, 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (therein after referred to as the Act), and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 459) Experimental Traffic Order 2018 so that waiting restrictions will operate at "any time" in the road or lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 2 December 2019, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan identifying the lengths of roads affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, until the end of a period six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act, or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make an application for this purpose to the High Court.

(a) the south-west to north-east arm, between Church Road and the main arm of Western Road;

WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS
THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 477) ORDER 2019
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 19 November 2019, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order will be to further amend existing Merton waiting and loading restriction Order of 1977 so that:-
(a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for 20 minutes) will be prohibited at any time in the lengths of roads or lengths of roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice; and
(b) the current waiting and loading restrictions layout in Morden Road, Mitcham will be formalised.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 2 December 2019, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including plans specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (RESTRICTED ROAD) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2019
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 19 November 2019, made the above mentioned Order under sections 82 and 83 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to reduce the speed limit from 40 m.p.h to 30 m.p.h. on Bushey Road, (the A298), between its junction with Martin Way and its junction with Grand Drive.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 2 December 2019, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the length of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
BISHOPSFORD ROAD, MORDEN AND LONDON ROAD, MITCHAM
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public in Bishopsford Road and London Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in those roads.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any motorised vehicle to enter or proceed on:
(a) the footway on the west side of London Road, from a point 8 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Rawnsley Avenue southward to its junction with Bishopsford Road;
(b) the footway on the west side of Bishopsford Road, from a point in line with northern flank wall of Flat 7 Woodglen, No. 2 Bishopsford Road northward to its junction with London Road.
3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. The Order will come into operation on Friday 22nd November, 2019 and will remain in force until 24th August 2020.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
RAYNES PARK BRIDGE, RAYNES PARK
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate bridge netting works in Raynes Park Bridge, Raynes Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Raynes Park Bridge, between its junction with Coombe Lane and its junction with Approach Road; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Raynes Park Bridge specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Approach Road, Kingston Road, Hartfield Road, Wimbledon Bridge, Wimbledon Hill Road, Worple Road, Pepys Road and Coombe Lane or via Coombe Lane, Lambton Road, Worple Road, Wimbledon Hill Road, Wimbledon Bridge, Gladstone Road, Sir Cyril Black Way, Hartfield Road, Kingston Road and Approach Road.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into operation at 8pm on Monday 2 December 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out overnight between the hours of 8pm and 6am the following day every night from Monday 2 December 2019 until Friday 6 December 2019. However, the Order will remain in force for two weeks should further bridge netting works be required.
