CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CANTERBURY ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas service on behalf of SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Canterbury Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Canterbury Road will be closed south-west bound at its junction with London Road, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 405 London Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via London Road, Midhurst Avenue, York Road and Stanley Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 22 November 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one night between 9pm and 5am. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be necessary.

5. The restrictions specified in paragraph 2 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS DRUMMOND ROAD, FRITH ROAD & KEELEY ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works on the Citiscape building, Drummond Road, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in the roads and sections of roads specified in the Schedules to this Notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place: -

(i) The roads in Schedule 1 to this Notice will be closed between 6pm and 8am.

(ii) Parking bays will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" will be introduced into the roads and sections of roads listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

(iii) One-way working for traffic will be suspended in the roads and sections of roads listed in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

3. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via local roads as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 22 November 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by approximately

23 December 2019. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be necessary.

GRANT ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate BT infrastructure works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Grant Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Grant Road at its junction with Lower Addiscombe Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lower Addiscome Road, Highbarrow Road, Inglis Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 16 December 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

SHIRLEY CHURCH ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate deadwood removal from Oak trees, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Shirley Church Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Shirley Church Road will be closed outside no.17.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 22 November 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AND PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of power connections, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements and parking in Station Approach Road, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) Station Approach Road will be closed between its junctions with Brighton Road and Edward Road;

b) temporary parking suspensions will be in place outside no.2A to 4 Station Approach Road.

c) temporary parking restrictions will be in place outside no.3 to 9 Station Approach Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 2 December 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 8 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water mains connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Chertsey Crescent, New Addington.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Chertsey Crescent will be closed between Nos.26 to 84.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 10 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate BT connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Kenley Lane, Kenley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Kenley Lane between No.40 Kenley Lane and at its junction with Welcomes Road.

3. Whilst the road closure remains in force, vehicles will be escorted through the site closure as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 10 February 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water mains connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Colworth Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) Colworth Road will be closed at the junction of Bingham Road;

b) One way traffic will be revoked in Colworth Road to allow for two way traffic throughout Colworth Road.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 13 January 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

FIVEACRE CLOSE, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new customer connection on behalf of Virgin Media, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Fiveacre Close, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Fiveacre Close will be closed between its junction with London Road and the north-eastern flank wall of Nos. 7 to 24 Fiveacre Close.

3. During the works pedestrians will be diverted into a temporary walkway in the carriageway. Vehicular access will be maintained where required.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 December 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within six days. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
