(A414 Maldon Road, A414 Wycke Hill, B1018 Limebrook Way, Limebrook Way Roundabout and Spital Road Roundabout, Maldon) (Derestriction &40mph Speed Limit) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council
has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2),
83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 40mph speed limit on
the following length of roads in the Town of Maldon in the
District of Maldon:
Road
Description

Keeble Park, Maldon  
From its junction with B1018 Limebrook Way, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 12 metres.
Meeson Meadows, Maldon 
From its junction with B1018 Limebrook Way, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 12 metres.
Access Road 3, Maldon
From its junction with B1018 Limebrook Way, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 12 metres.
Fambridge Road, Maldon
From its junction with B1018 Limebrook Way Roundabout in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately
20.6 metres.
B1018 Limebrook Way, Maldon
From a point approximately 255 metres west of its junction with Meeson Meadows, in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 920 metres to a point approximately 16 metres east of its junction with Fambridge Road Roundabout (inclusive of Roundabouts at Access Road 3 and Fambridge Road). The road is currently derestricted.


The Essex County Council (A414 Maldon Road, A414 Wycke Hill, B1018 Limebrook Way, Limebrook Way Roundabout and Spital Road Roundabout, Maldon) (Derestriction & 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2016 is hereby revoked. The restrictions contained within the aforementioned order will continue in force by virtue of this order.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 22 November 2019.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
