PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 / WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 385 BOLTON (PART» PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019

The above Order, made on 20th November 2019 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 ("the 1980 Act") under section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting part of Public Footpath No. Bolton 385 as follows:

Public Footpath No. Bolton 385 situated to the south of 30 Lambton Street, Bolton, BL3 3LG from point A at grid reference SD370165 406832 in a generally south by westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD370150 406743 for a distance ol approximately 90 metres as shown by the continuous bold black line between points A-B on the Order Plan of a width of 1.5 metres throughout over a natural surface.

The new line will commence from point C at grid reference SD370196 406760 in a generally west-south westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD370150 406743 as shown by the bold black line between points C-B on the Order Plan over a total distance of approximately 49 metres. The width between points C-B will be 1.5 metres throughout over a natural surface.

A copy of the Order and Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased.

Objections or representations should state the grounds on which they are made and either sent to

or in writing to Saskia Whalley at the address below not later than the IstJanuary 2020. If no objections or representations are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any objections or representations which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH LITTLE LEVER 011) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO. ) ORDER 2019

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.

The effect which will be operative from 10th December 2019 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Little Lever 011 commencing from Victory Road, point A at grid reference SD 375435 407674 in a generally south westerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 375371 407626 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1UL011 over a total distance of approximately 84 metres.

An alternative route is provided commencing from Victory Road, point A at grid reference SD 375435 407674; public footpath Little Lever 012; Ainsworth Road; Lever Street then public footpath Little Lever 014 to point B at grid reference SD 375371 407626 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order Plan 1 LiL011.

The Order is necessary to facilitate the construction of new dwellings and will continue for 6 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
