ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -SOUTH STREET & HIGH STREET PORTSLADE
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 8 November 2019 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

(a) The temporary suspension of westbound traffic in High Street, Portslade at its junction with South Street.

(b) The suspension of the right-hand movement for northbound traffic from South Street, Portslade into High Street.

(c) The suspension of right-hand movement from southbound traffic from South Street, Portslade into High Street.

2. The Order is necessary to allow the construction of a new traffic island and carriageway resurfacing.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. This Order comes into force on 18 November 2019 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed which is estimated to be 20 December 2019.
