NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE)
(ENGLAND) ORDER 2010 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15(3) OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
Proposed development at: B & Q Depot Smugglers Way SW18 1EG
I give notice that Legal and General is applying to Wandsworth Borough Council for planning permission to undertake the following development, and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement: APPLICATION REFERENCE: 2019/4583
PROPOSAL: Variation of conditions 2 (in accordance with approved drawings), 3 (Environmental Impact Assessment - EIA), 4 (Flood Risk Assessment) and removal of condition 13 (No residential units shall be occupied within the inner or middle zones of the HSE consultation distance) pursuant to planning permission dated 29/03/2019 ref 2017/0580 [Demolition of existing retail buildings and phased construction of 13 residential blocks (with 3 podiums) to allow the following changes: Increase in unit numbers from 517 to 554 (37 units additional units), increase in affordable housing units from 184 to 197, change to housing mix, reduction in car parking from 60 parking spaces to 22 blue badge spaces, 1 commercial blue badge space and 1 car club space. Introduction of D1 and D2 uses into the flexible floorspace and reduction in ground floor flexible commercial floorspace from 2969m2 to 1960m2 (GIA), reduction in Class B1(a) commercial floorspace at the mezzanine level from 5160m2 to 1054m2 (GIA) with the provision of 2,548m2 (GIA) residential facilities associated with the 'Build to Rent' model. Associated changes to the level of cycle storage, amenity including outdoor swimming pool, private amenity, public open space and playspace across the site, increase in size of energy centre and other associated changes as a result of the revised development. A revised EIA and associated mitigation, change to finished floor levels and removal of condition 13 (see planning statement on Council website). A revised Environmental Statement has been submitted under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 as amended.
