NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER

DIVERSION OF FOOTPATH PV-530 (PART) (FORMERLY FOOTPATH 16), IN THE PARISH OF PINVIN)

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER AND DEFINmVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019
On 16 October 2019 the County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:
Diverting the length and entire width of footpath PV-530(part) In the parish of Pinvin commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 9554 4812 and proceeding in a southerly direction for 114 metres. The path then arcs and continues in an east south easterly direction for 5 metres, where it terminates at OSGR SO 9553 4800. The total distance of footpaths to be diverted is 119 metres.
To a point commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 9555 4811 at the highway boundary with the A44 with a width of 3 metres and proceeding in a south westerly direction for 3 metres to OSGR SO 9555 4811. The path then heads in a south easterly direction for 14 metres to OSGR SO 9556 4810, and then in a southerly direction for 64 metres to OSGR 9555 4803. It then turns to head in a westerly direction for 2 metres, where it terminates at its junction with the highway boundary of U47099 Dawes Way at OSGR SO 9555 4803 (Point G on the Order map). The path commences again on the opposite side of U47099 Dawes Way at OSGR SO 9553 4801, and proceeds in a southerly direction for 15 metres to OSGR SO 9553 4800, where its joins the remainder of footpath PV-530. The total distance of the diverted footpath is 98 metres.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, and at Wychavon District Council, The Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Station Road, Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 1PT on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought at County Hall, Worcester at the price of £7.50.
The Order came into force on 16 October 2019 but If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice 26 December 2019 make an application to the High Court.
