Temporary Closure of Cliff Street, Redcliffe Street and Union Street TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Cliff Street, Redcliffe Street and Union Street from Cliff Street; the junction with Redcliffe Street to the junction with Albion Terrace. Redcliffe Street; the junction with Union Street to the junction with Braysbridge and Union Street; the junction with Bath Street to the junction with Redcliffe Street for a total distance of 301 metres.
This order will enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 27 November 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 1 night (19:00-05:00). Please visit
