The Marine Licensing (Pre-application Consultation) (Scotland) Regulations 2013
Marine Licence application for works at James Whatt Dock, Greenock.
Notice is hereby given that Fairhurst (on behalf of James Whatt Dock LLP) will be submitting an application for a marine licence to Marine Scotland under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010. The marine licence is for a replacement bridge access to Garvel Island within the James Watt Dock site at Greenock. The replacement is to take the form of an upgraded approach road and partial dock infilling of the area between the existing bridge abutments, creating a new mini causeway access.
A pre-application consultation event, where plans and supporting documents showing the position and nature of the works will be displayed, will be held on the 13th December 2019, between 10am - 2pm at: Craigend Resource Centre McLeod Street Greenock PA15 2HD

All comments relating to the proposal should be received no later than 10th January 2019.
Comments made to Fairhurst on behalf of the prospective applicant are not representations to the Scottish Ministers. If the prospective applicant makes an application for a marine licence there will be an opportunity for representations to be made to the Scottish Ministers on the application.
