Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Effect of the above Orders will be, without any change in substance to the designations and provisions imposed by those Orders, to consolidate each district's Orders into a new consolidated map-based Order, the Orders being consolidated and their respective amendments are listed in Schedule 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 1st November 2019.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Orders of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Orders apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Footpath 24, East Donyland) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 24, East Donyland in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Rowhedge Wharf Road and Waterfront Promenade in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 220 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/11/2019 to 02/12/2019 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footpath surfacing works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via the Waterfront Promenade footway then following Footpath 27 round to its southernmost junction with Footpath 24 and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 11/11/2019 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.11) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the Schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24/10/2019, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Mill Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Entry and Temporary Introduction of One Way) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a prohibition of entry from Northern Approach Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester into Mill Lane Colchester.
2. To temporarily introduce a one way restriction in that length of Mill Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m northeast of its junction with Northern Approach Road to the junction with Northern Approach Road, (Traffic
to flow in a southwesterly direction only). The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 01/11/2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231003790 - Breheny Civil Engineering Ltd). The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while lane construction works are undertaken by Breheny Civil Engineering Ltd. (Rams Farm Road, Fordham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rams Farm Road, Fordham in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 135m east of its junction with Plummers Road for a distance of approximately 75m in an easterly direction.
