LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
HOMEFIELD ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer repair and associated works in Homefield Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Homefield Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Homefield Road and a point 15 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Ridgway; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of Homefield Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of Homefield Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or that length of road.
4. The one-way working in Homefield Road will be suspended during the works to allow two-way traffic in the lengths of road not affected by the works.
5. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference.
7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Lingfield Road and Ridgway.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order will come into force on Monday 11th November 2019 and it is expected that the works will be completed on Friday 22nd November 2019. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 6 months should further works be required.

TOYNBEE ROAD, WIMBLEDON CHASE (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate bridge netting works in Toynbee Road, Wimbledon Chase, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Toynbee Road, between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 70 and 72 Toynbee Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 71 and 73 Toynbee Road;
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the length of Toynbee Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of Toynbee Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or that length of road.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

8. The Order will come into force on Tuesday 12th November 2019 and it is expected that the works will be carried out overnight and completed on Wednesday 13th November 2019. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 6 months should further works be required.

KINGSTON ROAD, RAYNES PARK (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at Nos. 567 to 577 Kingston Road, Raynes Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Kingston Road, both sides, between the common boundary of No. 565 and Nos. 567 to 577 Kingston Road and the south-western boundary of Nos. 567 to 577 Kingston Road; or
(b) enter or proceed in the footway on the north-west side of the length road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works at Nos. 567 to 577 Kingston Road.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed via the footway opposite.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in Article 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Friday 1 November 2019 and remain in force until 27 April 2021 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
