TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400633 THE SQUARE (UPPER SLAUGHTER PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400633 The Square from outside the property known as 8 The Square to outside the property known as The Old School House for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the closure is to carry out installation of a new water service.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400617 ROAD FROM HAMPEN COTTAGES TO LOWER HAMPTON FARM (SHIPTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to

temporarily close part of the 400617 Road from Hampen

Cottages to Lower Hampton Farm at the Old Railway Bridge

758 for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The road falls within Shipton Parish in the Cotswold District,

Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary due to the bridge failing a recent assessment and is in danger of collapse. The road was originally closed for 21 days by emergency Notice commencing 13th September 2019 and was subsequently extended by a further 21 days. The works to the carriageway are still ongoing so it is necessary to extend the closure by an Order which can authorise the closure of the road for up to eighteen months from the date of the original Notice.
