University of Winchester Academy Trust Section 10 Consultation
The University of Winchester Academy Trust (UWINAT) is pleased to launch its section 10 Consultation" in relation to Stoneham Park Primary Academy. This is a 'presumption free school' being built in partnership with Hampshire County Council to meet the need for school places in response to the new development at North Stoneham Park, Eastleigh. It will have capacity for 315 pupils and is planned to open to its first cohort in September 2020. 'Please note this consultation is not related to any buildings or planning applications. These consultations have already taken place. As part of the process of opening a new school, The University of Winchester Academy Trust is legally required to hold a consultation exercise (under section 10 of the Academies Act 2010) to determine whether the Trust should enter into a Funding Agreement with the Department for Education. This consultation will allow parents/carers and pupils, staff and governors from local schools, other local authorities, councillors, local residents and any other interested parties to learn more about The University of Winchester Academy Trust's plans for Stoneham Park Primary Academy and share their views.
The consultation period will run from 1 November 2019 until Friday 13 December How to Respond
