Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Shilton, Bridge Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 28 October 2019 Coming into force: 4 November 2019 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cable works which are anticipated to be completed on 11 November 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Bridge Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4020 Carterton - Burford road , Shilton Road Burford, A40 Oxford Road Burford, A361 Lechlade Road to Hen N Chick Lane, and road into Shilton, West End and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T7021/RAG)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wootton, Boars Hill, Fox Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 28 October 2019 Coming into force: 4 November 2019 This Order is being introduced because of drainage improvement and carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed on 12 November 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Fox Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Oxford Road towards Abingdon, the A4183. At the roundabout turn right to Dunmore Road, to the B4017 roundabout and north towards Wootton. Traffic on the B4017 should continue south towards Abingdon, Dunmore Road A4183 northbound over the A34 on Oxford Road to Foxcombe Road.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref: T7O01/RAG)_

Carterton, Stanmore Crescent Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 11 November 2018 Coming into force: 14 November 2018 This Order is being introduced because of redevelopment works of buildings, main drainage, new roads and footpaths and services which are anticipated to take 18 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Stanmore Crescent between Feltwell Close and the new road recently constructed. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4020 Upavon Way. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref: T7125/MR)

Spelsbury, Road through Dean, OX7 3LB Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 11 November 2019 Coming into force: 18 November 2019 This Order is being introduced for installation of fibre optic cables which are anticipated to take 8 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the unnamed road through Dean. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Charlbury Road & Chadlington Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
