(Canons Gate, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Canons Gate, Harlowinthe District of Harlow, from apoint approximately 115m west of its junction with Hobtoe Road for adistance of approximately 45m in anortherly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25/10/2019 for 1day, orwhere stated on avalid permit (MU026008108XVCN - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer cleaning works are undertaken by Thames Water.
An alternative route is available via Canons Gate, Ash Tree Field, Hobtoe Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16/10/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Theydon Road &BellCommon, Epping) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close thatlength of Theydon Road, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for adistance of approximately 65m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close thatlength of Bell Common, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for adistance of approximately 70m in a southerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 26/10/2019 for 15 days, orwhere stated on avalid permit (EP201EH2280643 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Road, BuryLane, High Street, Station Road, Centre Drive, Ivy Chimneys and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17/10/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 166, Harlow) (TemporaryProhibition of Use) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 166 in the district of Harlow, from its junction with footpath 168 east to junction with footpath 162 for adistanceof approximately 300 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/10/2019 to 12/01/2020 orwhere appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works for the construction of detention basin and associated works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 168, Gilden Wayfootway,Footpath162 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28/10/2019 and may continue in force for 6months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(New Forest Lane, Stradbrook Drive, Bracken Drive & Glenside, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close thatlength of New Forest Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Manor Road to its junction with Tomswood Road, a distance of approximately 190m.

2. To temporarily close thatlength of Stradbrook Drive, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with New Forest Lane to its end, adistance of approximately 720m.

3. To temporarily close thatlength of Bracken Drive, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Stradbrook Drive to its junction with Manor Road, a distance of approximately 755m.

4. To temporarily close thatlength of Glenside, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Stadbrook Drive to its junction with Bracken Drive, adistance of approximately 110m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 28/10/2019 for 110 days, orwhere stated on avalid permit (EP201EH2285696 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway and footway works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order came into effect on 24/10/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(River Way, Loughton) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of River Way, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 320m northeast of its junction with Southview Road for adistance of approximately 40m in anortheasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 04/11/2019 for 5days, or where stated on avalid permit (MU303000031225824-002 - Thames Water). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe laying works are undertaken by Thames Water.
An alternative route is available via Oakwood Hill, Southview Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 31/10/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III &IVof Schedule 9tothe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce 'No Waiting at AnyTime'restrictions on the following lengths of road in the District of Harlow:

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of anyprovision contained in it on the grounds thatitisnot within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds thatany requirement of the Act, or anyinstrument made under it,has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Various Roads, Chigwell) (Restricted Road &40mph Speed Limit) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9tothe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To extend theexisting 40mph speed limit on the following length of A113 Abridge Road, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 25 metres north east of the north eastern kerb line of Pudding Lane, north east for approximately 225 metres (the road is currently national speed limit): 'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Chigwell) (Restricted Road and 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2007' is hereby revoked. All restrictions contained within the aforementioned order will remain in force by virtue of this order.
