Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U93608, Passa Lane, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93608, Passa Lane, Leominster, from junction with Ryelands Road then southwards for 400 metres. Grid Ref: 348912/258280. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via Passa Lane onto Hereford Road, onto South Street, onto Ryelands Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to underground cable Installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 18th of November 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
