NOTICE OF MAKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80005 East Street & U80016 Offa Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles, excluding deliveries, on the roads shown below. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Broad Street onto King Street onto St Nicholas Street onto the A49 onto the A438 onto Union Street.

The said closure is required due to multiple utility installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of October 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 11 days as per the below schedule.
