Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1239, Broad Oak, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1239, Broad Oak, at Lemsford. Grid Ref: 348081/221146 to 348092/221160. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via onto the B4520 and onto the A466 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new supply connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th of November 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 week.
