Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70232, Gorsley Common Road, Gorsley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70232, Gorsley Common Road, Gorsley, at Linton Cottage. Grid Ref: 367294/226124 to 367298/226128. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via onto B4221, Quarry Lane then onto Frowens Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to meter installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of November 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
