Premises Licence Application

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of the JamesAtherton, 119 Victoria Road, Wallasey, CH45 2JD for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for.This is an application to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan, to accommodate the new layout and first floor refurbishment and extend the licensed area to include the first floor internal and external areas. To add the permission of late night refreshment as follows: Monday to Saturday from 23:00h until 01:00h the following morning. Sunday from 23:00h until 23:30h. To also extend the current permission for sale of alcohol, live music and recorded music as follows: Sunday from 11:00h until 23:30h,with thirty minutes drinking up time following the last permitted sale of alcohol (current permission 12:00h until 22:30h). For the above licensable activities, from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve until the start of permitted hours on New Year's Day. To extend all licensable activity until 00:30h the following morning every Sunday proceeding a bank holiday along with Christmas Eve and on 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th December, if these days fall on a Sunday. In the event of the transmission of any recognised international sporting event which falls outside of the current permitted hours of the premises licence, to permit the sale of alcohol and late night refreshment (between 11 pm and 5am), commencing one hour before the start of the event and ending one hour after the end of the event To remove the conditions listed under Annex 2,3 and 4 of the existing premises licence and replace with the conditions proposed within this application^ full list of the proposed conditions can be obtained by contacting Wirral Borough Council. All other permitted hours and licensable activities are to remain unchanged by this application. Representations to this application must be made in writing, by 11 th November 2019, to the Wirral Borough Council Licensing Authority at Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey, CH44 8ED. A full copy of the above application is kept by the Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey. The application can be viewed Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4.30pm except bank holidays.
