LEIGH COMMON, WIMBORNE
BDW Trading Limited has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Leigh Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are (1) widening of the existingcarriageway of Leigh Road to create a new junction and (ii) installing a 3 metre widecycle/pedestrian path. The proposed works will cover an area of 217 square metres and will be 40 metres in length.
The works will be located on that part of the common land lying to the south of Leigh Road, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 2AD only.
Acopyofthe application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Dorset Council, County Hall, Dorchester, Dorset DT11XJ during normal office hours until 18 November 2019.
