Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U92627, Millbrook Close, Orleton, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92627, Millbrook Close, Orleton, between the junction of Millbrook Way and Appleyard Close. Grid Ref: 349020 / 267123. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Millbrook Close onto Millbrook Way onto Kitchen Hill Road onto Mortimer Close onto Mortimer Drive and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to sewer defect repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st of October 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
