Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 And 118 Footpaths 2,16,34,54 And 86 Waltham Abbey District of Epping Forest Public Path Orders 2019 The above Orders confirmed on 2nd October, 2019 will divert Footpaths 2,16, 54 and 86 and extinguish Footpath 34 as not needed for public use in the Parish ofWaltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest.

Apart length of Footpath 2commencing from grid reference 53759,20264 where it connects to Footpath 7Waltham Abbey and running in asouth westerly direction, then asouth south westerly direction across the lake for adistance of 850 metres to grid reference 53727,20194 then continuing in asouth westerly direction across the lake for afurther distance of 240 metres to the footbridge at grid reference 53704,20185, will be diverted to anew route commencing at thesame above point and running in asouth then south westerly then southerly direction all along the existing surfaced track for adistance of 830 metres to grid reference 53734,20194, then in asouth westerly direction continuing along the track for afurther distance of 320 metres to grid reference 53709,20174 where it connects to Footpath 16.

Apart length of Footpath 16 commencing from grid reference 53727,20194 and running in asouth south westerly then bending to asouth westerly direction for adistance of 270 metres to grid reference 53707,20175 where it connects to the existing track will be diverted to anew route commencing from the track and running in asouth easterly then southerly direction along the existing track for adistance of 100 metres to the aforementioned grid reference 53704,20185. Afurther length of Footpath 16 commencing from grid reference 53759,20171 and running in agenerally south easterly direction, for adistance of 860 metres to grid reference 53751,20098 will be diverted to anew route commencing atthesame above point and running in asoutherly bending to south easterly direction along the existing surfaced track for adistance of 590 metres to grid reference 53744,20132, then in asouth south easterly direction continuing along the track parallel with and on the west side of the Horsemill Stream for afurther distance of 334 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. Afurther part length of Footpath 16 commencing from grid reference 53755,20073 and running in asouth south easterly direction across the river for adistance of 194 metres to grid reference 53763,20056 where it connects to Station Road will be diverted to anew route commencing at the same above point and running in asouth south westerly then south south easterly direction along the existing track for adistance of 200 metres to grid reference 53756,20155 where it connects to Station Road.

Apart length of Footpath 54 commencing from grid reference 54027,20044 and running in an east south easterly direction through the allotment gardens and aresidential property for adistance of 206 metres to grid reference 54047,20040 will be diverted to anew route commencing at thesame above point and running in agenerally easterly then an east north easterly direction for adistance of 88 metres to grid reference 54035,20044 then continuing in an east south easterly direction for afurther distance of 125 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

Apart length of Footpath 86 commencing from grid reference 53819,19697 on the south side of Daws Hill Road and running in agenerally south south easterly direction, cutting across the west side of the existing lake, for adistance of 480 metres grid reference 53832,19652 will be diverted to anew route commencing atthesame above point and running in an east south easterly direction parallel to Daws Hill Road for adistance of 175 metres to grid reference 53835,19690 then in asoutherly direction along the west side of the existing hedge for afurther distance of 378 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

The entire length of Footpath 34 Waltham Abbey will be extinguished as not needed for public use. It commences from where it adjoins the highway known as Pick Hill at grid reference 54009,20129 and running in asouth south easterly then asouth south westerly and finally agenerally southerly direction across the buildings and gardens of several residences for atotal distance of 140 metres to grid reference 54007,20117 where it connects to the junction of roads where Barnes Wayjoins Harries Court. The new routes will come into effect on 30th October, 2019. However, ifany person aggrieved by an order, wants to question its validity, orthatofany provision contained in it, on the ground thatitisnot within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground thatany requirement of the Act, as amended, or of anyregulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, heorshe may under paragraph 2ofSchedule 2tothe Act as applied by paragraph 5ofSchedule 6tothe Act, within 6weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court.

Notice of The Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Section 119 Footpath 52 Waltham Abbey

Apart length of Footpath 52 commencing from grid reference 54044,20214 and running in an east south easterly direction through abuilding at Fourways Nurseryfor adistance of 90 metres to grid reference 54053,20213 will be diverted to anew route commencing at the same above point and running in asouth south easterly then an east north easterly and then asouth south easterly direction for adistance of 27 metres to grid reference 54045,20213 then continuing in an easterly direction parallel with the bank of the ditch to the south for afurther distance of 75 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

Acopy of the Order and Order Maphavebeen placed in and may be seen free of charge at Epping District Council, Civic Offices, High Street, Epping and at County Hall, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order mapare available on request from the County Hall at acharge. Anyrepresentation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than, 14th November, 2019 and should state the grounds on which it is made. (Footpath 166, Harlow) (TemporaryProhibition of Use) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 166 in the district of Harlow, from its junction with footpath 168 east to junction with footpath 162 for adistance of approximately 300 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/10/2019 to 12/01/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works for the construction ofdetention basin and associated works are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Footpath 168, Gilden Wayfootway, Footpath 162 and vice aversa.

The Order will come into effect on 28/10/2019 and may continue in force for 6months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(New Forest Lane, Stradbrook Drive, Bracken Drive &Glenside, Chigwell) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarilyclose thatlength of New Forest Lane, Chigwell inthe District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Manor Road to its junction with TomswoodRoad, adistance of approximately 190m.



2. To temporarily close thatlength of Stradbrook Drive, Chigwell inthe District of Epping Forest, fromits junction with New Forest Lane to its end, adistance of approximately



720m.

3. To temporarily close thatlength of Bracken Drive, Chigwell inthe District of Epping Forest, fromits junction with Stradbrook Drive to its junction withManor Road, adistance of approximately 755m.



4. To temporarily close thatlength of Glenside, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Stadbrook Drive to its junction with Bracken Drive, adistance of approximately 110m.

The Order will come into effect on 24/10/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Burney Drive, Loughton) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic &TemporaryIntroduction of 20mph Speed Limit) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close thatlength of Burney Drive, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Westall Drive toits junctionwith Pyrles Lane, adistance of approximately 615m.



2. To temporarily introduce a20mph speed limit in thatlength of Burney Drive, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from itsjunction with Westall Drive to its junction with Pyrles Lane, adistanceofapproximately 615m (Current speed limit is 30mph).



The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 10/10/19 for 22 days, or where stated on avalid permit (EP20153052027 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway and footway reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mannock Drive, Burney Drive, Jessel Drive, Castell Road, Chester Road, Pyrles Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 17/10/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been comp eted, whichever is the ear ier.

(Wake Road, Waltham Abbey) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close thatlength of Wake Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 405m east of its junction with Claypit Hill for adistance of approximately 290m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21/10/19 for 5days, or where stated on avalid permit (MU308000806774780145-001 - Thames Water).The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety ofthe public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Thames Water.

An alternative route isavailable via Woodridden Hill, Woodgreen Road, Forest Side, Claypit Hill and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10/10/19 and may continue inforce for 18 months oruntil the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tawney Lane, Stapleford Tawneyand London Road, Epping) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarilyclose thatlength of Tawney Lane, Stapleford Tawney and London Road, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 4665m south of the junction with Tawney Common for adistanceofapproximately 115m in asoutheasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22/10/19 for 4days, or where stated on avalid permit (EP201BR2363-2 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may varyfor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closureisrequired for the safety of the public and workforce while tree removal works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Tawney Lane, Tawney Common, Epping Road, Mount End Road, Mount Road, Colemans Farm Lane, Epping Lane, London Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 10/10/19 andmay continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (TemporaryProhibition of Traffic &Clearway) (No.16) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given thatthe Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) ofthe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarilyclose the various lengths ofroad inthe District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.



2. Atemporary'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



"TheEssex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Permitted ParkingArea and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary'NoWaitingatAnyTime' restriction and suspend anyexisting parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to thatOrder shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from24/10/19, exact dates will be specified on

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
