Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U81100, Huntington Lane, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U81100, Huntington Lane, Hereford, on Huntington Lane bridge. Grid Ref: 348532/241927. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Huntington Lane onto Three Elms Road, onto Kings Acre Road, onto Huntington Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to bridge maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of November 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
