ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Lower Heyford, Freehold Street
Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 28 October 2019 Coming into force: 7 November 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway improvements which are anticipated to be completed on 22 November 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Freehold Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via The Lane - B4030 Station Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7051/RAG)

Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure
Merton No.295/1 &Wendlebury No.398/2 Date of Order: 14 October 2019 Coming into force: 18 October 2019 This Order continues in force an emergency closure notice put in place on 27 September 2019. The order is being introduced because of bridge replacement works which are anticipated to be completed 27 February 2020. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath Nos. 295/1 & 398/2 between Merton and Wendlebury. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no official pedestrian diversion route.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7313/RAG)

A4421 BUCKINGHAM ROAD (BICESTER) Proposed TOUCAN crossing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct the following feature within northern Bicester. The proposals seek to help improve pedestrian and pedal cyclist safety in respect to the new 'Bicester Heritage' housing development: A Toucan crossing (signal-controlled crossing for use by both pedestrians and pedal cyclists) at the following location:
? A4421 Buckingham Road - approx. 25* metres southwest of its junction with Skimmingdish Lane.
* All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.

Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 15 November 2019. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
