Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order: To prohibit vehicles from making a U-Turn on the High Street in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 60 metres west of the centre of its junction with Lewis Gardens to a point approximately 60 metres east of the centre of its junction with Lewis Gardens (approximately 120 metres/130 yards in total). Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council on 25 September 2019 confirmed the above mentioned Order and it took effect on that day.

The effect of the Order is to modify the Definitive Map for the County of Essex by:-Adding a length of Footpath 35 East Donyland, from Footpath 24 in an easterly direction for approximately 80 metres to Footpath 27.

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Colchester Borough Council, Rowan House 33, Sheepen Road Colchester, Essex, CO3 3WG and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, where copies will be available on request at a charge.

If any person is aggrieved by this Order and desires to question its validity on the ground

that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule

15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the date of

publication of this Notice make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12(1)

of Schedule 15 to the Act.

(St Johns Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Entry and Temporary Introduction of One Way) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily introduce a one way restriction in that length of St Johns Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 220m east of its junction with Constable Avenue to its junction with St Johns Roundabout, a distance of approximately 205m (Traffic to travel in an easterly direction only).



2. To temporarily introduce a 'Prohibition of Entry' from St Johns Roundabout into St Johns Road, Clacton on Sea for the duration of the above one way restriction only.



The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 29/10/19 for 25 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000872579- Cadent). (South Green Road, Fingringhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of South Green Road, Fingringhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 310m east of its junction with Abberton Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Colchester Road, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Colchester Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 400m in a westerly direction.



2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Colchester Road, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Colchester Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 480m in an easterly direction.

) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the Schedule to this Order.



2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
