The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 01/11/2019 quoting the reference number. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) B3107 Challymead (Part), Broughton Gifford; from its junction with Melksham Lane to its junction with Mill Lane to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway recycling and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via B3107 (unaffected length) - B3105 - B3106 - Elizabeth Way - A361 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 November 2019 and the closure will be required daily until 08 November 2019. For further information please contact Kristian Price (Atkins) 01225 730360. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) B3098 Westbury Road (Part), Edington; from its junction with Greater Lane to its junction with Downsview to enable Openreach to access underground structure to clear blockages. Alternative routes: HGVs: via B3098 (unaffected length) - C40 High Street/Cheverell Road - A360 -A361 - A350 - C184 Watergates - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. All other traffic: via B3098 (unaffected length) - A360 - A361 - A350 - C184 Watergates - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 for one day. C) Turleigh (Part), Winsley; from its property known as Turleigh Cottage for a distance of approximately 230 metres in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out a new connection. Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 October 2019 and the closure will be required daily until 16 October 2019. D) Westbury Road (Part), North Bradley; from its junction with B3097 Link Road to its junction with Southwick Road to enable Miles Macadam to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via Southwick Road - Bradley Road - Goose Street -Wynsome Street - A361 - A363 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 October 2019 and the closure will be required from 19:00 until 06:00 until 20 October 2019. E) Alfred Street (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Gibbs Close for a distance of approximately 20 metres in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out maintenance of sewer monitoring equipment in man hole. Alternative route: via Alfred Street (unaffected length) - B3098 Bratton road - A350 - Market Place and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 October 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 08:00 and 12:00 for one day. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
