Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpaths WT-505, WT-506 & WT-589 and Bridleways WT-507 &WT-508, Whittington)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 5 October 2017 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpaths WT-505, WT-506 & WT-589 and Bridleways WT-507 & WT-508, Whittington for their entire lengths which was due to expire on 12 October 2019 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 12 October 2020 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made to facilitate new housing development works.

No alternative route for Footpaths WT-506 & WT-589 Whittington.

No alternative route for horse riders and cyclists using Footpath WT-505 and

Bridleways WT-507 &WT-508 Whittington.

Alternative route available for pedestrians using Footpath WT-500, Whittington is via U52047 Swinesherd Lane and vice versa.

(St Georges Lane North, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 Proposed Order: to close that part of St Georges Lane North from its junction with Merrimans Hill Road to its junction with Flag Meadow Walk. Reason: New Customer Connection.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: St Georges Lane North, Merrimans Hill Road, Green Lane, B4550 Astwood Road, C2294 Landsdowne Road, Flag Meadow Walk and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 2 November 2019.

(Stockwood Lane, Inkberrow)(Temporary Closure) Order 2019

Proposed Order: to close that partofStockwood Lane from its junction with A422

High Street to its junction with Windmill Lane.

Reason: Reason Footpath Reconstruction Works.

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternativeroute: Windmill Lane, GreenscroftWay, StonepitLane, A422 High Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days Commencing: 4 November 2019.

(Sparrowhall Lane, Powick )(Temporary Closure) Order 2019

Order made: to close that part of Sparrowhall Lane from its junction with A449

Malvern Road to its junction with Bowling Green Road.

Reason: Lay New Ducting.

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Colletts Green Road, C2027 Colletts Green Road, Old Malvern Road, A449 Malvern Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days Commencing:

(St Georges Lane South, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2019

Order made: to close that part of St Georges Lane South from its junction with

A38 Barbourne Road to its junction with St George's Lane North.

Reason: Water Leak/Burst Main

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: St George's Lane North, A38 Barbourne Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:

Order made: to close that part of Lavender Road from its junction with Ivy Street

to itsjunction with Park View Terrace.

Reason: New/ReplacementGas Main.

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternativeroute: U50378 Park View Terrace, U50353 ParkAvenue, U50357 IvyStreet and vice versa.

Order made: to close that part of C2264 Appletree Lane to A422 Knowle Fields from its junction with C2264 Appletree Lane to its junction with A422 Worcester Road. Reason: New Customer Water Connection.

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A422 Worcester Road, A422 Alcester Road, U43414 Priory Farm Lane, U43415 Knighton Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:

(A38 Worcester Road, A449 Malvern Road, A4440 Temeside Way, A4440 Hams Wayand A4440 Broomhall Way, Worcester)(30 Mph And 40 Mph Speed Limits) Variation Order 2019

Order made: to imposeavariation and new speed limitson the partofA38 Worcester Road, A449 Malvern Road, A4440 Temeside Way, A4440 Hams Way and A4440 Broomhall Way, Worcester as follows:-

40 mph on the length of A4440 Broomhall Way from a point 100 meters east ofits junction with the Ketch Roundabout for a distance of 800 meters in an easterly direction.

30 mph on the length of A4440 Hams Way from itsjunction with the A4440 Powick Roundabout (A4440 The Village) for a distance of 400 meters in a westerly direction. 40 mph on the length of A4440 Hams Way from a point 400 meters west of its junction with the A4440 Powick Roundabout (A4440 The Village) for a distance of 800meters in a westerly direction.

TheOrder has been made to facilitate the construction ofthe SLR4 DuallingProject. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
