M25 MOTORWAY JUNCTIONS 25 -27 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M25 Motorway in the Counties of Hertfordshireand Essex, and the London Borough of Enfield, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works areproposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closure, in phases, of:-
a) the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between Junction 25 (A10) and Junction 26 (A121);

b) the road leading to the clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 25 (A10);

c) the road leading from the clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 26 (A121); and

d) the road connecting from the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 to the northbound carriageway of the M11 (from its diverge point with the road connecting to the London-bound carriageway of the M11) at M25 Junction 27 (M11 Junction 6).

These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake resurfacing and lighting works including road marking, stud and loop replacement, column, cable, ducting, cabinet and pillar replacement and all associated works. The work is part of aproject which is expected to last for 18 months starting on or after Tuesday 5th November 2019. Precise location timing to be advised by advanced roadside and gantry signing. The overnight closures would take place between the following hours (maximum period):
Monday-Thursday - 2200 - 0530
Friday - 2300 - 0600
Saturday - 2200 - 0600
Sunday - 2230 - 0530
The Order would come into force on 3November 2019 and continue until completion of the works or until 3May 2021 whichever is sooner.
Traffic affected by the closures would be diverted using other junctions on the M25, and by using the A10 and A121. The diversion in operation would vary according to the closureinforce. The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
