THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VALE AVENUE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using thatlength of Vale Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Masefield Avenue north westwards to its junction with Melrose Avenue ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 283 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Masefield Avenue, Furzehill Road, Milton Drive, Furzehill Road and Melrose Avenue. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 October 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. Acopy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). WELL END AND SHENLEY) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given thatHertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. thatlength of Well End Road, Borehamwood/Silver Hill, Well End and London Road, Shenley from its junction with Rowley Lane north westwards to its junction with B5378 Woodhall Lane, adistance of approximately 2870 metres.
An alternative route will be via Rowley Lane, A5135 (Rowley Lane/ Elstree Way) and B5378 (Shenley Road/Cowley Hill/Green Street/ Woodhall Lane) or via B5378 (Woodhall Lane/Green Street/Cowley Hill/ Shenley Road), A5135 Elstree Wayand Rowley Lane.
2. thatlengthofStapleton Road/Brampton Terrace, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Green Street south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with the Aycliffe Road/SawtryWay roundabout, adistance of approximately 695 metres.
An alternative route will be via B5378 (Green Street/Cowley Hill), Gateshead Road and Aycliffe Road.
3. thatlengthofTheobald Street, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Allum Lane north westwards for adistance of approximately 2064 metres.
An alternative route will be via B5378 Allum Lane, A5183 (Watling Street/Cobden Hill/Watling Street) and Theobald Street. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7October 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

An alternative route will be via Francis Road, Marlborough Road, A4178 (Cassio Road/ Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A411 Exchange Road and Market Street.
7. thatlength of Francis Road, Watford from its junction with Marlborough Road south eastwards to its junction with Market Street, adistance of approximately 180 metres.
An alternative route will be via Marlborough Road, A4178 (Cassio Road/ Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A411 Exchange Road and Market Street or via Market Street, A411 Exchange Road and Marlborough Road.
8. thatlength of Grover Road, Watford from its junction with A4008 Pinner Road westwards, southwards and eastwards to its junction with Oxhey Avenue, adistance of approximately 305 metres.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Pinner Road and Oxhey Avenue.
9. thatlength of Victoria Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
10. thatlength of Hatfield Road, Watford from its junction with Bradshaw Road north westwards for its entire length.

St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Leavesden Road,
adistance of approximately 420 metres. An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Cecil Street and Leavesden Road.
12.thatlengthofKingsfield Road, Watfordfrom its junction with A4125 EastburyRoad south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Oxhey Road, adistance of approximately 570 metres.
An alternative route will be via A4125 EastburyRoad and Oxhey Road.
13. thatlength of North Approach, Watfordfrom its junction with Evans Avenue north eastwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Evans Avenue, Leggatts Rise, Rushton
Avenue, A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road, Sheepcot
Laneand Kingswood Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on ornear theRoads.
