(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011
(Variation) Order 2019 [Prohibition of Waiting on Northwick Road, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making
an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting
at any time on the following lengths and side of road
in Worcester:
Northwick Road (east side) from its junction with
Saunders Street for a distance of 9 metres in a northerly
direction and 8 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain
exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes
and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement
of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be
inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service
Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester
WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester,
WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objections/
representations you may have must be sent in writing
to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@
worcestershire.gov.uk to be received by 31 October
2019.

[Prohibition of Waiting and Disabled Persons’
Parking Place on Ombersley Road, Beckett Drive,
Cornmeadow Lane and St Anne’s Road, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making
an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting
at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads
in Worcester:
Ombersley Road (east side) from its junction with
Cormeadow Lane for a distance of 11.5 metres in a
southerly direction; (west side) from its junction with
Beckett Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly
direction. Cornmeadow Lane (both sides) from its
junction with Ombersley Road for a distance of 10
metres in an easterly direction. St Anne’s Road (north
side) from a point 9.7 metres east of its junction with
Cornmeadow Lane for a distance of 19 metres in an
easterly direction; (south side) from a point 9.7 metres
east of its junction with Cornmeadow Lane for a distance
of 7 metres in an easterly direction. Beckett Drive (both
sides) from its junction with Ombersley Road for a
distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
Create a Disabled Person’s Parking Place:
St Anne’s Road (south side) from a point 16.7 metres
east of its junction with Cornmeadow Lane for a distance
of 6.6 metres in an easterly direction
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain

(Footpath KP-760, Kempsey)(Temporary Closure
Order) 2019
Proposed Order: to close Footpath KP-760, Kempsey for
its entire length.
The Order has been made to facilitate resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
having a frontage to the highway affected where there is
no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Footpath KP-754, U60013 Pixham
Ferry Lane, C2220 Old South Road, C2220 Old Road,
U60014 Meadow Close and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period
not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is
proposed to be carried out have been completed,
whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated
that the Order will only be operative for 6 months
commencing on 31 October 2019.
(Post Office Lane, Kempsey ) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2019
Proposed Order: to close that part of Post Office Lane
from its junction with Ellsdon to its junction with
Sallowbed Way (Private Road)
Reason: Footway Reconstruction
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2208 Post Office Lane, C2208
Roman Road, C2208 Green Street, C2208 Fox Lane,
C2108 Hatfield Bank, C2108 Broomhall, C2055 Norton
Road, A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Road, A38
Bath Road, A38 Main Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
5 Days Commencing: 28 October 2019.
(U43208 Kington Lane, Kington)(Temporary Closure)
Order 2019
Proposed Order: to close that part of Kington Lane from
its junction with U43208 Kington Lane for a distance of
100 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Drainage Work/Flood Alleviation.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U43207 Kington Lane, A422 Alcester
Road, U43209 Old Hill, C2010 Radford Road, U43207
Kington Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
12 days Commencing: 28 October 2019.
(Exeter Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order
2019
Proposed Order: to close that part of Exeter Road from
its junction with Lichfield Avenue to its junction with
Durham Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative routes: Diversion 1: Exeter Road, Durham
Road, Canterbury Road, Lichfield Avenue and vice versa.
Diversion 2: Durham Road, Exeter Road, Lichfield
Avenue, Canterbury Road, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration:
16 days Commencing: 28 October 2019.
(The Shambles, Worcester)(Temporary Closure)
Order 2019
Proposed Order: to close that part of The Shambles
from its junction with A38 St Nicholas Street to its
junction with Pump Street on four separate dates.
Reason: Crane to carry repairs to A/C units at Marks &
Spencer.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 St Nicholas Street, A38 The
Foregate, A38 Foregate Street, A449 Castle Street, A449
Croft Road, A44 Dolday, A44 All Saints Road, A44
Deansway, A44 College Street, A38 City Walls Road and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
21 days. Commencing:
27 October 2019 – Sunday 16:00 - 06:00.
3 November 2019 – Sunday 16:00 - 06:00.
10 November 2019 - Sunday 16:00 - 06:00.
17 November 2019 - Sunday 16:00 - 06:00.

Closure) Order 2019
Order Made: to close that part of Link Footpath F50345
Trotshill Lane West & Millwood Drive from its junction
with U51756 Trotshill Lane West to its junction with
U51700 Mill Wood Drive.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
