NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to facilitate Kendal Emergency Services Day, South Lakeland District Council has made the under-mentioned Order. THE DIVERSION OF TRAFFIC, KENDAL KENDAL EMERGENCY SERVICES DAY ORDER 2019 THE DISTRICT COUNCIL OF SOUTH LAKELAND in the County of Cumbria under and by virtue of the powers contained in Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847. DO HEREBY ORDER THAT:- Those streets in Kendal specified in the First Schedule hereto shall be closed to all vehicles save those vehicles involved in the Kendal Emergency Services Day and emergency vehicles during the period 10.00 to 18.00 on Saturday 19 October 2019 and that the alternate routes to be observed by all vehicles other than those mentioned above shall be as specified in the Second Schedule hereto. THIS ORDER may be cited as “The Diversion of Traffic, Kendal (Kendal Emergency Services Day) Order 2019”. FIRST SCHEDULE Busher Walk, Kendal from the junction with Burneside Road to the junction after Kendal Police Station SECOND SCHEDULE Such other routes as may appear practicable at the time in the opinion of any person responsible for the control of traffic.
