DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
HAUGHTON ROAD, TORNADO WAY. BARTON STREET, DARLINGTON [ROAD & FOOTWAY CLOSURE), ORDER 2019

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

HAUGHTON ROAD
From tho west side of Westgarth Terrace junction westwards to its junction at the Ihroughahout
An alternative route will be signed via McMullen Road, Tornado Way and vice versa

From its junction on the west side of the throughabout westwards to the east side of Vicarage Hood junction
An alternative route will be signed via Freemans Place, St Cuthbert's Way, Parkgate, Yarm Road, McMullen Road, Tornado Way and vice versa

From tho west side of Vicarage Road junction westwards for lOOmetros
An alternative route will be signed via Freemans Place, St Cuthbert's Way, Parkgate, Yarm Road, McMullen Road, Tornado Way and vice versa

TORNADO WAY
From its junction at tho throughabout eastwards to its junction with McMullen Road
An alternative route will be signed via McMullen road, Haughton Road and vice versa

HUNDENS LANE
From its junction with Haughton Road southwards for 130motros
An alternative route will be signed St Cuthbert's Way, Parkgate, Yarm Road and vice versa

BARTON STREET
From Its junction with Haughton Road northwards to the south side of Allan Street junction
An alternative route will be signed via Haughton Road, Freeman's Place, St Cuthbert's Way, Northgate, High Northgate, Albert Road, Cleveland Street, Allan Street or Dodsworth Street and vice versa

Only one section will be closed at a time.

The Order is necessary to allow junction improvement works.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 7th October 2019.
