St Helens Council
ADOPTION OF MODEL STREET COLLECTIONS REGULATIONS
St Helens Council hereby gives notice that it plans to adopt the 'Model Street Collections Regulations' set out in the 'Charitable Collections (Transitional Provisions) Order 1974 (SI 1974/140) (Model Street Collections Regulations). This resolution was passed on 12 July 2019 at a meeting of the Full Council. The adoption will take place with immediate effect as soon as the requirements of the act are complied with which are; acknowledgement by the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the posting of the advertisement in two local papers. When published the Regulations and accompanying policy will be available on the Council website at
