Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Denchworth, Circourt Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 30 September 2019 Coming into force: 7 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of edge strengthening works which is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Circourt Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Cow Lane - Millaway Lane -Goosey Lane & Farringdon Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T6884/MR)_

Marcham, North Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 30 September 2019 Coming into force: 7 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of gas main reinforcement work which is anticipated to take 1 month to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of North Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via North Street - Howard Cornish Road -Packhorse Lane (A415) and vice-versa. Location: Harwell, Rowstock, A4185 Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 14 October 2019
Coming into force: 21 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of road and utility improvements which are anticipated to take 8 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of Newbury Road (A4185) between Curie Avenue and Fermi Avenue. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The diversion route for traffic is via Reading Road (A417) -London Road - Hagbourne Hill - Newbury Road (A4185) and vice-versa. For local traffic the alternative route is via Icknield Way-Hagbourne Hill - Newbury Road (A4185) and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref:T6974/MR)_

Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 14 October 2019 Coming into force: 19 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of bridge repair works which are anticipated to be completed on 30 November 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Hithercroft Road east of Church Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Hithercroft Road -Dunsomer Hill - Wallingford Road - A4130 - Calvin Thomas Way - Hithercroft Road -Vice Versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T6938/RAG)
