ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Eynsham,Acre End Street Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 14 October 2019 Coming into force: 21 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of highway maintenance work which is anticipated to take 12 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Acre End Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Witney Road -Spareacre Lane - Mill Street - Thames Street - Oxford Road - B4449 - Station Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref:T6543/MR)

Ascott underWychwood, London Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 14 October 2019 Coming into force: 24 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway repairs which are anticipated to take 12 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting that part of London Lane from the B4437 to the junction with the High Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4437-Leafield Road-unnamed road-Shipton Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T6977/RAG)

Old Minster Lovell, Minster Ridings Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 14 October 2019
Coming into force: 21 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of installation of fibre optic cables which is anticipated to be completed on 29 October 2019. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the length of Minster Ridings from School Hill to Minster Mill Hotel. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via Minster Ridings, Field Assarts, Leafield Road Crawley, Dry Lane and Burford Road and vice versa
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T6969/RAG)_

Brize Norton Footpath No.143/8 Closure Date of Order: 14 October 2019 Coming into force: 21 October 2019 This Order is being introduced because of flood alleviation works which are anticipated to take 6 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath No.143/8 between the junction with Witney Road and Manor Road and The Priory Manor. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no official diversion route. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7022/RAG)

(SHILTON PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, for road safety reasons is to extend the 30mph speed limit on The Hill westwards along Hen-n-Chick Lane and past the turn towards Cotswold Stoneyard; also for 40 metres into the turn towards Cotswold Stoneyard; and into the Alvescot road southwards for 165 meters. Each of these sections of road are currently unrestricted (60mph). The current Oxfordshire County Council (Shilton Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2001 will be revoked/replaced. , or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday; and at Carterton Library, 6 Alvescot Road, OX18 3JH, from 9.30am to 5pm Monday Thursday, 9.30am to 7pm Tuesday, 10am to 7pm Friday, and from 9.30am to 1pm Saturday. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 01 November 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
