NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLISLE DIVERSION OF FOOTPATH 132023 PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY DIVERSION ORDER 2019

The above Order was confirmed on 19 September 2019. The effect of the Order will be to divert the length of the public right of way No. 132023 at Rickerby, Carlisle for a distance of approximately 430 metres in length running from Point A at Grid Reference 341 130 557 060 to point B at Grid Reference 341 468 557 110 shown with a broken red line on the order map. The route will be diverted to an alternative route from Point A at Grid Reference 341 130 557 060 to Point B at Grid Reference 341 468 557 110 for a distance of approximately 430 metres at a width of 2.5 metres as shown with a broken blue line on the order map.

A copy of the Order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the Customer Contact Centre, Civic Centre, Carlisle City Council from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am - 4.00 pm on Fridays for a period of six weeks commencing on 27 September 2019 and viewed on the Carlisle City Council Website. Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the Civic Centre at the price of £1.

The Order came into force on 19 September 2019 but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order they may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes within six weeks from the date on which the notice was first published as required by paragraph 7 of the Schedule 14 to that Act.
