Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 1 the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To amend the following restrictions in the Chippenham and Chippenham Without Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. CR39 and CR40 dated 16th December 2016 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. CR39 and CR40 the effect of which will be a) To remove No waiting at any time on New Road - east side - from a point 46 metres south west of its junction with Foundry Lane for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction; b) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour on Park Lane - north side -from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Malmesbury Road for a distance of 12 metres in a westerly direction; c) To introduce No Waiting at any time on Foundry Lane - north side - from a point opposite the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a distance of 134 metres in a north easterly direction; Foundry Lane - south side - i) from the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a length of 43 metres in an easterly direction ii) from a point 62 metres east of the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a distance of 75 metres in a north easterly direction; Park Lane - north side - from its junction with Malmesbury Road for a distance of 27 metres in a westerly direction; d) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm 1 hour No return with 1 hour on New Road - east side - i) from the existing 1 hour parking bay for a length of 5 metres in a south westerly direction ii) from a point 46 metres south west of its junction with Foundry Lane for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction; e) To introduce Loading Only 8am -6pm on Foundry Lane - south side - from a point 42 metres east of the eastern access to Hathaway Retail Park for a distance of20 metres in a north easterly direction. Order 2 - To introduce a prohibition of right hand turn, prohibiting vehicles turning right from Langley Road into Malmesbury Road. Order 3 - a) To introduce a prohibition of U turn, to prohibit vehicles from making a U turn manoeuvre from Park Lane to New Road; b) To introduce a prohibition of U turn, to prohibit vehicles from making a U turn manoeuvre from Foundry Lane (westbound) to Foundry Lane (eastbound). Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Chippenham Library, Timber Street SN15 3EJ during the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9am to 5pm Tuesday and Saturday, 9am to 1pm Wednesday and 9am to 7pm Thursday and Friday until 21 October 2019.
