ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - MIDDLE ROAD AND HOME ROAD, PRESTON, BRIGHTON

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 20 September 2019 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

(a) The temporary Closure of Middle Road and Home Road, Preston, Brighton, at their junctions with one another, for approximately 20 metres.



(b) To enable access to be maintained it will be necessary to suspend the One-way Order on Middle Road for the duration of the closure.



2.The Order is necessary to allow BT contractors to repair and replace

a manhole and chamber in the carriageway.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4.This Order comes into force on 23 September 2019 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
