The Church Commissioners have authorized the publication of a draft Scheme providing for part of the churchyard of the former parish church of St Nicholas, Colchester in the diocese of Chelmsford to be transferred to the Chelmsford Diocesan Board of Finance for sale for the purpose of a public open space. A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected at the church of St Botolph in Colchester. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners’ website at www.ccpastoral.org/ or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours by applying to Nathan Whitehead at 53 New Street, Chelmsford, CM1 1AT; 01245 294412; nwhitehead@chelmsford.anglican.org. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request. You may make representations either for or against all or any part of the draft Scheme in writing to James Davidson Brett, Pastoral Division, Church Commissioners, Church House, Great Smith Street, London, SW1P 3AZ or by email to james.davidson-brett@churchofengland.org to reach him not later than 11 November 2019.
